Charter Purpose / Objectives
This committee has been formed to provide a forum among Environmental, Health Safety Communications Panel (EHSCP) member companies to identify industrial hygiene concerns and issues in the communications Industry, and assist member companies in addressing those concerns through shared experience and knowledge.
Objectives include:
Sharing of resources and solutions to promote environmental, health and safety
Benchmarking concerning technical processes, procedures and equipment used in industrial hygiene Preparation of responses to proposed regulations relating to industrial hygiene on behalf of the EHSCP
Members
EHSCP member companies will select representatives from their company to serve on this committee. Rotation of members in and out of the committee will occur on an as-needed basis.
Groundrules
Committee will meet bi-monthly or more frequently.
Committee members will exchange ideas in a confidential setting.
Discussions will focus on improving the working environment or work procedures of the employees of our companies by sharing knowledge experience and judgment.
Meetings will be limited to one hour unless by general consensus it is decided to continue past one hour.
An agenda will precede each meeting and minutes will follow each meeting.
As much as possible, members should abstain from taking other phone calls and using the PC for matters not related to the call except for emergency situations (in such situations the member should excuse themselves from the call for the time necessary to address the situation).
